In a picturesque Texas Hill Country setting just North of Wimberley, Veterans Park is available to host to a wide variety of events including weddings, fund raisers, banquets, graduation parties, family reunions, training sessions, and business meetings.
We offer the following facilities for one day rentals at modest rates.
- Main Hall – a very functional building perfect for weddings and wedding receptions, birthday parties, award dinners, memorial services and meetings of every size. The hall is 3,600 square feet with a raised stage, serving counter, and restrooms. The hall has a capacity of 300 attendees, or 236 with tables and chairs. Chairs and tables (both rectangular and round) are included in the rental fee, as is a wireless PA system. A paved parking lot with room for over 100 cars is also included with rental of the Main Hall.
- Kitchen – the Hall has a professional working kitchen which is available for rent with our without the main hall. The kitchen is 22’ X 26’ with a Vulcan gas range and ovens, several microwave ovens, sinks, a serving window and a serving counter and a center island.
- Grounds and Arena. – the grounds of Veterans Park and a full size (240’ x 120’) arena with announcer booth, five chutes and livestock pens are available to rent. Seating capacity is approximately 3,000 in bleachers and box seat. Acres of parking, both paved and unpaved, are included with arena rental. This is the perfect venue for rodeos, horse shows, cutting horse competition, concerts, and other outdoor events
Reservations are required and payment is due at the time of signing a rental agreement along with cleaning and security deposits. Deposits are returned if the venue is returned in the condition in which it was rented
